The highly anticipated movie "Terminator 5" is reportedly done with majority of its shooting. The science fiction film will have Arnold Schwarzenegger in the lead role. The actor will redeem his robotic role as T-800 terminator, who, despite being a robot is still ageing.
Schwarzenegger will be seen in the movie series after more than a decade. He was last seen in the 2003 release "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines" where he played the role of a robot. The actor has almost finished filming his part of the film, according to a recent report.
The renowned fitness trainer and actor Aaron V. Williamson has apparently signed in to play the role of a younger T-800 robot, reported Movie Web. The news of the young terminator came after Williamson mentioned about him being a part of the movie series in his social networking page. The post, however, has been deleted by the muscle man.
"Thanks to an amazing team of people who help me get better each week, both physically & creatively, I'll be playing a T-800 (Terminator) in the upcoming production Terminator: Genesis. I'm extremely grateful & motivated as this new chapter begins to take shape," read the post by Williamson.
The statement is believed to be true as Schwarzenegger had earlier revealed that there is a younger T-800 in the "Terminator 5" reboot.
The film has two new additions to its cast, Douglas Smith and Emilia Clarke.
While Smith from "Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters" will be playing the role of the younger John Connor, Clarke, who shot to fame with the television show "Game of Thrones," will play the role of Sarah Connor, who is the mother of the chief of human resistance against the machines.
The hit movie series also features Jason Clarke as the older Connor, Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese and Courtney B as Miles Dyson. The character Dyson is the founder of Cyberdyne. The role was originally played by Joe Morton in "Terminator 2: Judgment Day." Apart from the leads, Matt Smith, J.K. Simmons, Dayo Okeniyi are also part of the movie.
The action-packed hit movie series has been extensively shot in several locations, including Redwood Shores in California, New Orleans, Louisiana and San Francisco.
Directed by Alan Taylor, "Terminator 5" is slated to release on 26 June 2015 in the UK and on 1 July 2015 in the U.S.
