Salman Khan starrer "Kick" has achieved the blockbuster status at the domestic box office by earning more than ₹173.31 crore. The box office collection of "Kick" has declined to fall despite entering the second week.
The action drama film, which surpassed Shah Rukh Khan's "Chennai Express" week one figure, has been heading for ₹200 crore mark in India.
The film, which also features Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, is now set for a solid second weekend.
In just 8 days, "Kick" has taken its overall income to ₹173.31 crore. The film raked in ₹9.22 crore on the second Friday at the box office. It requires ₹27 crore to touch the double century mark in India and it is likely that the film will achieve that mark by the second weekend.
Looking at the second Friday's figure, the film is expected to fetch in over ₹30 crore in second weekend.

In overseas market also the film has done extraordinary business till now. In its first week, it took its overall earnings to ₹42.85 crore.

In Pakistan also, the business has shown tremendous jump. The response is so good that the makers have increased the screen count from 56 to 62. Till now, the film has raked in 8.3 crore PKR (₹5.12 crore) from the Pakistan box office.

Salman is set to break his own records with "Kick." Sajid Nadiadwala's directorial film will become Salman's highest grosser film beating "Ek Tha Tiger" record.
"Kick" has already become Salman's seventh film to cross the ₹100 crore mark in a row. Soon, it will become his first film to cross the ₹200 crore mark in India.
Not only trade analysts, but also Salman is confident that his film will cross the ₹200 crore mark. In fact, he said that his film will surpass ₹500 crore.
"I don't know about the business. Why talk about ₹200 crore, talk about ₹300 or ₹400 crore or ₹500 crore. We would be more than happy if the film does more business," Salman told Press Trust of India.
Whether or not "Kick" will touch ₹500 crore mark, it will definitely cross the double century mark.
