Young Tiger NTR’s upcoming film Rabhasa audio was unveiled yesterday (1-8-2014). This film is an upcoming power packed entertainer and Samantha, Pranitha plays the female lead roles.
Rabhasa is directed by Santosh Srinivas and SS Thaman scored the tunes. Let us go through the review to know how it is.
1. Maar Salam
Artist: Suchith Suresan
Lyricist: Ramajogayya Sastry
This is the first track of the album and starts with some tongue twisting words. Template beats of drums and pop based breeziness works for a while. The vocals are strong with full energy and will be a treat to Tarak’s fans. Suchith Suresan gives a confidence performance.

2. Garam Garam Chilaka
Artists: Srikrishna, Deepu, Bindu, Parnika
Lyricist: Srimani
This mass song is sung by Srikrishna, Deepu, Bindu and Parnika. It is an average track with usual techno sounds and goes well with the film. But more effort could have enabled it in composing far better.
The lyrics are penned by Srimani and the singing is commendable overall but it is not having that lasting impact on the listeners.
3. Raakasi Raakasi
Artist: JR NTR
Lyricist: Srimani
This song was crooned by NTR and he gave a better performance than the professional singers. It is definitely chartbuster of the album and you will connect to it instantly. NTR’s energetic voice makes us to dance.
4. Hawa Hawa
Artists: Karthik, Megha
Lyricist: Ananth Sriram
The lyrics are simple and the tune is pleasant. Karthik and Megha have sung this song. The musical instrument guitar is used and the concept of Thaman is different in this song.
5. Dam Damare
Artists: Simha, Sooraj Santosh, Nivas, Deepthi Madhuri, Manasa Acharya, Pavani
Lyricist: Srimani
This song contains the same lyrics and template beats are same as the above songs. Though it is an average song but it is well delivered. The singing is commendable overall but it is not having that lasting impact on the listeners.
Verdict
On the whole, Thaman plays it safe with Rabhasa, and gives a mixed bag of songs. Right from romance, fun and massy numbers, this album has it all. Rakasi Rakasi, Maar Salam and Hawa Hawa are sure shot hits and our picks. Finally, Rabhasa’s music album sounds decent and will definitely grow on you, once you watch them visually.
