Rani Mukerji starrer Mardaani has become the first film of Yash Raj Films to get an A certificate from censor board.
The film deals with child-traficking and prostitution, that is why the film has been granted an adult certificate with a few cuts.
The few cuts in the film include nude scenes and abusive language.
The actress will be seen playing a tough police officer on the trail of human trafficking mafia. Rani Mukerji will be seen in a never before seen avatar doing hardcore action and chasing the bad guys.
Directed by Pradeep Sarkar and produced by Aditya Chopra, the film will release worldwide on 22nd August 2014.
