Mumbai Crime Branch has said that they will quiz Bollywood actress Poonam Pandey in a complaint filed by a model, who claims that DIG Sunil Paraskar raped her in an apartment here. Name of Nasha actress has been linked to the case post the victim said that Paraskar did so at Poonam’s behest.
Victim reportedly said police that DIG shares a close bond with Poonam Pandey who is her professional rival.
Police is not planning to question Poonam to know the truth of her proximity with the DIG Paraskar.
Police said that victim and Poonam exchanged few tweets and it is analyzing the same.
However, Paraskar said that claims made by the Mumbai model are baseless and he will soon furnish evidence to prove her clean.
Police however said that it has retrieved few text messages which have been exchanged between Paraskar and victim. In the texts, DIG is seeking apology over something but it has yet not clear why the senior police officer is apologizing to the victim.
Meanwhile, talking to a leading website, Poonam said that she has not received police summon in the case but if it happens, she will extend her complete support.
Poonam even said that she had never met the victim and nor she knows about the cop Sunil Paraskar.
